Do I need to open a CDS account with one of the stock broking companies to trade online ? Yes. The normal account opening procedures apply. A CDS account is required. |

What are the securities companies that I can use to trade online through zoomFinance ? zoomFinance gives you the choice of opening a trading account with Inter-Pacific Securities. It is reputed and established stock brocking companies that are members of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. |

Can I use my personal CDS account with a stock broking company not listed as zoomFinance partners to trade online at zoomFinance website ? No. You will have to open a CDS account with any one of zoomFinance’s partner securities company. |

Can I open more than one online trading account with the same stock broking company ? Yes, in addition to your normal trading account you may also trade as a margin client, both using the same user ID. When you execute an order online, you will be allowed to select which account that you want that trade to be executed from. |

What is the minimum deposit I have to place with the stock broking companies ? Inter Pacific Securities: For new clients, you will need to place a minimum deposit of RM1,000. As for existing client, no deposit is required. Share collateral as deposit is also acceptable.

What are Sessions ? When a user login to zoomfinance, a "session" is created and immediately can differentiate that user from all other users at a site. Anything stored in that user's session can be retrieved and manipulated from that page and the next pages they visit, and the data will be tied to that user.
Session data is stored on the server, not in cookies. No user could examine the session cookie and determine the contents of any session variables. Session will timeout after the specified time, in zoomFinance case, is 30 minutes. When a session timeout, all the session data will be removed and the user will be logout automatically. |

How is the session refresh ? Clicking any links or button will refresh the session to restart counting from 30 minutes (except links and button at Real-Time Quotes page which are in the white-coloured-line box). |

How to keep a session from timeout ? Opening My Portfolio page (click 'MY PORTFOLIO' button at Real-Time Quotes) will be keep session alive. As long as My Portfolio is open, session will be kept alive. |
